The popular 3D printing club continues in the fall!
The volunteer-run club is free for participants. The club's motivation is interest in 3D printing and working together with children.
The club has four printers and five printing pens. In the club you can make, for example, paw replacements or Minecraft keychains. Only your imagination is the limit! The club is located at Virasoja school, which has its own 3D printing class.
There are three groups in the club
Basics of 3D printing
Anyone who is not familiar with 3D printing can come every other Saturday from 10.9.2016 from 10 am to 11 am to learn about 3D printing. Elementary school students from first to sixth grade together with an adult are welcome in this group. The last club session is 17.12. There is room for six children in one group. Contact Heidi Piili for more detailed information.
Advanced in 3D printing
Elementary school students who have been to the club before or are otherwise familiar with 3D printing can come and do project work with adults every other Saturday starting on Saturday, September 10.9.2016, 11 from 13 am to XNUMX pm. Project-based work is done in the rotating group throughout the fall. You can make your own projects or participate in joint projects. Eight children are accepted into this group for the whole autumn.
3D printing mother (or father)/grandmother (or guardian)-child group
Last spring, we also tried a mother-child 3D printing club, which was well received. For the sake of equality, a mother/father & grandmother/guardian-child 3D printing club was founded. We meet every second Saturday of the month starting Saturday 10.9.2016 September 13.30 at 15.30:0-12:3.12 p.m. Children aged XNUMX-XNUMX together with their mothers (and of course fathers) are welcome to this group to DO TOGETHER WITH THE CHILDREN and talk and SHARE EXPERIENCES OF THE EVERYDAY LIFE OF A FAMILY WITH CHILDREN. The presence of parents or grandparents is mandatory. The club has toys for the little ones. We cook for the parents. The last club session is December XNUMX. A new group is taken each time. Groups require advance registration. Eight mother (father) & grandmother (guardian) – child – formations are taken into one group.
You should register for the groups right away in order to join.
