Imatra and the Olympic Sports Center of Belarus signed a cooperation agreement

The camps of the Belarusian national team in Ukonniemi are established.

The city of Imatra and the Belarusian Olympic sports center Raubichi have signed a cooperation agreement on athlete and club cooperation.

─ This means that the camps of the Belarusian national team in Ukonniemi will be established. In addition, the agreement enables Imatra's clubs, for example, to exchange tournaments and other cooperation opportunities between sports. In terms of sports, this first applies to biathlon and in the future possibly also ice hockey and football, CEO of Imatra Base Camp Oy Jukka Aallikko says.

The agreement captures the importance of the Ukonniemi area of ​​Imatra as an international national team level camping site.

The contract was signed on Thursday in Minsk. The agreement was signed by the mayor on behalf of Imatra Kai Roslakka.
