Babies from Imatra receive an apple tree as a gift from the city. Here's the first new Imatra resident of 2016 getting his own, 2.1. born Oili baby with his parents Carita and Antti.

In January-August 2016, 113 new people from Imatra were born.

In recent years, 190 to 240 children have been born in Imatra per year.
