Sports school students are waiting for the situation to calm down at their training places

As an additional security measure, the city of Imatra has decided to keep the students attending the sports school waiting at the sports hall until the police deems the situation to have calmed down.

Dancers will also be kept at Kulttuuritalo Virra and ice hockey players at the ice rink for the time being.

The police are looking for a suspicious person in the Mansikkala area. According to the report received at 7.20:XNUMX a.m., such a person has been seen moving around with a gun in the vicinity of schools.

Extra security measures are in place at the schools and no one was injured. The doors of the Mansikkala daycare center are also locked.
