The Imatrankoski bridge work continues. Temporary traffic lights were already in use in the summer.

Destia: Traffic lights on the Imatrankoski bridge for the weekend

Temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented on the Imatrankoski bridge, the street section that goes over the bed of the power plant, on Friday morning (September 14.9).

Destia makes mass movement joints for the rapids bridge pavement. Because of this, only one lane is used on the bridge. Movement is controlled by temporary traffic lights, which are in use over the weekend. The traffic lights will be put into operation on Friday at 7 o'clock in the morning.

- The work is done subject to weather conditions. If the weather is bad, we will continue the work the following weekend, foreman Jukka Tiainen Destialta tells.
