Imatran Vesi will perform maintenance at the Keskuskatu wastewater pumping station on Friday, August 10.8.2018, 00.00, between 05.00:XNUMX and XNUMX:XNUMX.

Pumping has to be stopped for the duration of the maintenance work, and efforts are made to remove the incoming waste water with a suction truck. Exceeding the suction truck's operating capacity can lead to sewage overflow at the pumping station. Any overflow is directed to Vuo.

- The work is a normal maintenance operation and it does not harm the residents of the area. However, we wanted to inform you about this, because a possible overflow will have to be diverted to Vuosi, said water supply manager Kari Pietarinen.
