The renovated sports field in Vuoksenniska has been opened to users

The renovation of the Vuoksenniska sports field has been completed, and the field has been opened to users. During the summer, the athletics venues were renovated and a new artificial sand turf was installed. 

– The field is mostly ready and in working order. The street football pitch will be installed next week. The high jump mattress will be delivered during August, according to the contractor, says the infrastructure developer. Konsta Toikka From Mitra. 

Booking of artificial turf pitches 

You can now apply for both regular and one-time shifts at the new artificial sand pitch in Vuoksenniska. 

– Shift applications are made using an electronic application form, says the space reservation coordinator of the City of Imatra. Susanna Paloposki.
