Asphalting work will be carried out on Paperharjuntie from July 21 to 24.7.

The asphalting work will be carried out on the section of Paperharjuntie that was renovated in 2023 and will be implemented with double-layer asphalt. The section has been on base asphalt since its completion. 

– Now the section of street in question will be surfaced with a wearing course, which will bring the street to the correct level and, for example, the curbstone view to match the planned height, says the infrastructure developer. Konsta Toikka From Mitra. 

Work schedule: 

• Tuesday 21.7. milling of starting and edge joints 

• Thursday to Friday, July 23–24.7, asphalting (weather permitting) 

Traffic will be controlled during the asphalting process. 

– We aim to carry out the work according to the planned schedule, but possible weather conditions, machine breakdowns or other similar factors may affect the schedule and cause changes to the work arrangements, Toikka says.
