Meltola's regional renovation will progress next week to the northern end of Hevosmiehenkatu and Myllymiehenkatu

As part of the Meltola area renovation, the track between Mellonkatu and Valjaskatu has been completed without asphalting. The track will be asphalted in the summer of 2027.
On the Monday of Midsummer week, finishing work will be carried out on the track, and from there the machines will move to the intersection of Viipurintie and Myllymiehenkatu. Renovation work will also continue on Mellonkatu.

The renovation of Hevosmiehenkatu will include renewing the water supply technology and the structural layers of the street. The installation of summer water has begun on the street and the work will be completed next week.
