In the renovation of Jarrumiehenkatu, the water supply network and the layers of the street will be renewed in the section between Junamiehenkatu and the track.

- You can go to Jarrumiehenkatu via Ratavallinkaari from the beginning of September. The work will take an estimated two months, Kipa's site foreman Jukka Malinen says.

In connection with the construction of the above-ground water line, water meters will be removed from the Jarrumiehenkatu and Vähäkatu properties. A notice from Kipa has been distributed to the properties in the area, which recommends that the tap water during the construction site, i.e. summer water, be run more abundantly than normal before its introduction due to the higher water temperature.

Imatran Kiinteistö- ja Aluepalvelu Kipa and LVIS-Projektit Oy are responsible for the connection and connection work of the water supply line.
