Information event for foreign speakers on Tuesday, September 6

The info presents the welfare and immigration services. The event will be interpreted into Ukrainian.

The city of Imatra will organize an information session for foreign speakers who have moved to Imatra on Tuesday, September 6. The event will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. in the winter garden on the first floor of the town hall.

The info presents the welfare services offered by the city and the immigration services of the South Karelia Social and Health District (Eksote).

— We tell about the operation of the city's cultural services, youth services and sports services, among other things. Acting city ​​manager Matias Hilden will introduce himself and the city's employment expert Marika Vento will also be available to meet, sports and wellness coordinator Henna Jääskeläinen says.

In addition to the city's operators, the Finnish Red Cross's Imatra reception center and Eksote's immigration services are also involved. In addition, the city's early childhood education services will also be presented.

Tirando, the guitar ensemble of the music college, will perform at the event.

The event is open to everyone and is especially intended for all foreign-speaking people who have moved to Imatra. 

The event will be interpreted into Ukrainian.
