A goods loan office opens in the Utula village store

Utula's village shop in Ruokolahti opens on Friday 17.6 June. goods loan company.

You can borrow goods against a deposit from the loan office, which you may need occasionally, but which are not necessarily worth getting for yourself.

The following items can be borrowed:

• Safety shoes (size 39)
• Safety shoes (size 45).

The loan office is open to everyone.

To establish a goods lending company Go to South Karelia! -project. Utula's goods loan company is the first loan company of the project.

— This is an experiment, with the help of which we see how the operation starts to run. If necessary, we can acquire other loanable goods from the loan office, project worker Ada Eerola says.

Lending offices can also be established in other rural villages, if there is enough interest.

— For example, village halls could be good places for loan companies. You can get more information from our project workers, Eerola advises.

Go to South Karelia! - project's goal is to reduce rural carbon dioxide emissions and promote a sustainable lifestyle in the countryside. The project is implemented by the environmental activities of the Imatra and Lappeenranta regions.

The project will be implemented between 1.3.2020 March 31.12.2022 and 350 December 000. Its budget is XNUMX euros, and the financier is the Rural Development Program of Mainland Finland of the Southeast Finland ELY Center.
