The possibility of driving through Paper ridges will be cut off on Monday, September 3.9. and there will be changes to the route of local transport lines 1 and 2 and the business bus that run through it.

Traffic arrangements are valid on September 3.9. starting, when the second lane goes out of use on Paperharjuntie between the intersection of five roads and Piisaminkatu. Paperharjuntie will be completely closed to vehicle traffic between Joutsenonkatu and Mäyränkatu during the construction work. Light traffic is allowed between there. Traffic is diverted from Nuijasuonkatu to Saimaantie.

Traffic arrangements also affect bus routes

The road contract also brings changes to public transport. Bus lines 1 and 2 and the shopping bus take the detour, which is Nuijasuonkatu-Saimaantie-Tainionkoskentie-Suokatu-Karhumäenkatu.

The two pairs of stops on Paperharjuntie will temporarily move to the intersection of Paperharjuntie and Nuijasuonkatu and to the intersection of Karhumäenkatu and Juskumäenkatu.

The sauna laundry stops are out of use. For buses, the change will enter into force on September 3.9.
