My paintings depict nature in different seasons in different lighting conditions. I observed how the time of day and the weather affect the landscape and its atmosphere. I'm interested in fog as well as bright sunshine. The works in the exhibition were created during last winter and spring and as a whole describe the transition from one season to another.

I look for subjects for my works by walking in nature. You don't have to go far, because inspiration can be found in landscapes that are familiar to me. What has been seen and experienced is the basis of my paintings. However, I don't aim to reproduce a certain view exactly, but I change the landscape according to the conditions of the composition and the overall impression. The most important thing is to convey the atmosphere of the landscape to the viewer. I want the viewer to experience the same experience that I myself have experienced in nature by the landscape.

My paintings are intended to be viewed both up close and from afar. The visible strokes of the brush and the touches of the palette knife tell of the time the painter has spent working on the work. At its best, a painting consists of abstractions formed by paint, which together in turn form a representational image. I try to work quickly so that the freshness of the works is not lost.
