The city of Imatra is adapting its administrative and support services
The subject of inspection were, among other things, case management, customer service, financial management, personnel management, information management, transportation, communication, and technical support service processes. The cooperation negotiations were concluded on January 15, and based on them, the employer will implement the following, already announced measures:
- the fixed-term employment relationships of the target group will not be extended,
- no new personnel will be hired to replace the people who resigned during the negotiations and the administrative and support service personnel who will retire during 2016,
- excess capacity of administrative and support service resources is sold to municipal partners / stakeholders and
- due to changes in the service structure, contracts for machinery and equipment that become unnecessary will not be renewed or will be terminated.
Em. in addition to the measures, eight people have been dismissed from positions that have decreased or will decrease significantly and permanently. Termination notices have been delivered to the parties involved personally. By implementing these measures, the 2016 budget of the city of Imatra is balanced in terms of personnel costs.
