Combine baseball and high school

The Sports Academy offers young people who are passionate about baseball the opportunity to combine their high school studies and sports training. 

Imatra High School and Imatra Pallo-Veikot ry work closely together, which enables the combination of a tailored study plan and high-quality everyday training.

The training is carried out in collaboration with the Imatra Pallo-Veikot ry. At IPV, students have the opportunity to play at several youth and adult league levels, all the way up to the highest league level, and gain the skills needed to reach the Super Pes level through the player path.

Apply to join the Imatra Pallo-Veikko teams by contacting Taina Honkanen (tel. 040 0245631). Each athlete's situation will be assessed individually.

Imatra and the Ukonniemi area have excellent facilities for everyday training all year round: the Ukonniemi Arena for winter training, the Ukonniemi baseball stadium for summer training and games, and comprehensive training facilities at Koski School and the Imatra Sports Hall.
