Start the summer with a city bike

Imatra has city bikes for rent in the summer. A city bike is an easy and flexible way to move both in your free time and on your way to work. 

- More and more citizens and tourists move around Imatra by city bike. It's a great thing, because city bikes are both an environmentally and socially sustainable form of movement, the city's traffic engineer Aino Vuopio rejoices.

This summer, Imatra has 40 city bikes, and their stations are located in Imatrankoski, Mansikkala, Ukonniemi, Sienimäki, Karhumäki and Vuoksenniska.

- On city bikes, you can ride with summer holiday guests, for example, on a swimming trip to Ukonlinna's beach. Or when going on holiday, you can drive to the train station with a city bike instead of a car, Vuopio advises.

The city bike is introduced with the Donkey Republic app. City bikes are available at least until the end of October. 
In addition to city bikes, you can also ride electric scooters supplied by Tier this summer on Imatra.
