Touring Finlandia MK ry and the Finnish Motorcycling Association will organize Finland's first international FIM Mototour of Nations rally race in August.

The 2026 FIM Mototour of Nations will be held in Imatra from 11 to 14 August 2026. The event will be held in Northern Europe for the first time and is aimed at touring motorcyclists. The rally has previously been held in Mediterranean countries such as Greece, Spain, Tunisia and Croatia. The motorcyclists will be staying at the Imatra Kylpylä Spa & Resort Hotel. The event is a partnership event of the city of Imatra.

Participants are expected from all over Europe, mainly from France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Nordic countries and the Baltics. The event will involve riding pre-planned routes on motorcycles every day, exploring sights and local cuisine.

Tourism and Events Manager, City of Imatra Panu Kärri warmly welcomes motorcyclists to Imatra.

– We have a long history of motorcycle sports in the city, so various motorcycle events are a good addition to our summer of events. The services in the area, the proximity of Vuoksi and Lake Saimaa guarantee a pleasant riding experience and beautiful landscapes!

The program includes a parade ride and excursions to area attractions.

The Imatra FIM Mototour of Nations event has a lot to offer. On the opening day, Tuesday 11.8 August, participants will parade through the Jarno Saarinen Circuit street circuit to Imatra's Inkeri Square. In the center of Imatra, the program includes a rapids show and a tour of the Imatra Circuit Museum.

On Wednesday 12.8 August and Thursday 13.8 August, participants will take trips to the Miehikkälä Salpalinja Museum and the Puumala Sahanlahti Resort. Adventure bikers will have the opportunity to ride gravel roads instead of highway routes.

In September 2025, the Mototour of Nations event in Croatia had 280 participants from 20 different countries. Approximately 250 guests are expected for the Finnish rally.

Motorcycles will also be seen in Imatra after the FIM Mototour of Nations event. The Touring Finlandia MK ry is organizing a club event for its members during the weekend of August 13–16.8, with 100–150 participants expected. Friday's program includes a driving trip to the Simo Häyhä Museum, and on Saturday there will be a boat cruise from Imatra Spa to Lappeenranta Harbour. In Lappeenranta, lunch will be served and the fortress will be explored.
