Noise problems in apartments

Is the ventilation, elevator, plumbing fixtures or laundry room noisy? Does the restaurant noise or the noise caused by some other business disturb you? Are footsteps annoying?

There are several different sources of noise in a residential property: various technical devices, such as ventilation, elevators, plumbing fixtures or laundry equipment, and activities in the building, such as restaurants, repair shops and various other business functions. Even normal operation can cause disturbing noise due to insufficient sound insulation.

On the basis of the Health Protection Act, it is possible to deal mainly with noise nuisances caused by technical equipment and noisy activities in buildings, as well as problems caused by insufficient sound insulation.

Disturbing lifestyle in the apartment is an issue related to maintaining order, which must be addressed to the property manager or reported to the police.
