The activation and monitoring of Imatra's climate measures is carried out through the reporting of the annual clock. 

Situation in May 2021:

In the Ilmatovisiaat project, the basis for reporting on the city's future climate measures has been created. In the future, the annual clock will be developed annually in a more comprehensive and versatile direction. 

Situation in May 2022:

In February 2022, the coordination, monitoring and reporting responsibility for the climate work of the city of Imatra was transferred from the environmental department of the Imatra region to the city's group services. The employment of the climate coordinator who worked on climate projects in the environmental department ended on February 28.2.2022, XNUMX. His work will be continued by the new climate coordinator of group services.

The environmental department of the Imatra region will continue to actively participate in the climate work of the city of Imatra, e.g. through the city's climate working group.
