Savings with energy renovations webinar 18.10.2022 October XNUMX
During the years 2020-2022 In the countryside of South Karelia, we are looking for good practices to promote low-carbon activities. Go to South Karelia! -project is implemented by Imatra and Lappeenranta's regional environmental activities. The project is financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
The goal is to find active people among rural residents to try out new ways of living that take the climate into account in their everyday life. The project also focuses on, among other things, the recycling of materials, transportation, and the utilization of renewable forms of energy and energy efficiency. With the help of experiments, a new type of low-carbon economic activity is made possible.
This year we have made bioreactor plans for four farms in South Karelia and energy inspections for five village houses. A village lending office for objects was opened at the Utula village store. In order to promote low-carbon mobility, we have made a video about electric cars, and in addition to that, we are introducing a carpooling application.
On Thursday, April 7.4.2022, 515, we organized a familiarization visit to the farm-specific biogas plant for Juvan Bioson Oy (Vanha-Juvantie 104) and the Kalmar farm in Lauka (Vaajakoskentie XNUMX).
During autumn 2022, we will participate in several events, such as Imatra day and the GreenReality carnival organized by the city of Lappeenranta.
The model cards made in the project can be found on our website in connection with the presentation of the work package.
Last year, we got to know several carbon sequestration model sites, which were also videotaped.
