The first snow slope has been opened for skiers

Ski passes are on sale in the online store and in Saimaa Sport and Imatra Kylpylä.

Ukonniemi's first snow slope has been opened for skiers today, Thursday. The track is open for two kilometers.

—The route includes a climb to the coach hill. The starting point is located at the Ukonniemi stadium, sports and wellness manager Henna Jääskeläinen says.

The track will be extended later in the fall, taking weather conditions into account.

Skiing on the first snow slope is subject to a fee. Ski passes are on sale in the online store and in Imatra's Spa and Saimaa Sport located in the Ukonniemi arena.

The opening of the ski season will be celebrated on the first snow slope on Saturday, November 4.11. You can find more information about the opening here.
