Unusual traffic arrangements continue on Ratavallinkaera

The renovation of the Virasoja area is progressing on Ratavallinkaera. 

The construction site area is next to the intersection of Junamiehenkatu and Ratavallinkaari. The area is marked on the map in red. Passing through the construction site is prohibited. 

The routes in use are marked on the map with blue arrows.

—Light traffic coming under the railway must travel along the detour. The detour passes through the light traffic route from the end of Jarrumiehenkatu, Junamiehenkatu and Kumpukuja, Jarkko Lapatto Koneurakointi from Ovaska Oy tells. 

The route between Kumpukuja and Ratavallinkaari can also be used for construction site traffic from time to time. The route is used by site traffic when other routes are closed.

The intersection between Ratavallinkaari and Junamiehenkatu is currently in use.

Traffic arrangements will change as the work progresses, so extra care must be taken in the area.

Zoning began in Ratavallinkaera in mid-November. The estimated duration of the works is 1,5 months.
