A school in the middle of the village - Learning path in Imatra from mobile school to school network reform

The exhibition at the Imatra City Museum presents the multi-generational phases of primary education in the Imatra region, from the time of traveling schools in the late 1800th century to the comprehensive school network reform implemented in the 2010s. The exhibition presents the development of the elementary and comprehensive school network in the Imatra region, as well as the everyday life of schooling, through images, texts and objects.
