This year, the city of Imatra has built new, environmentally friendly lighting on the path along the Vuoksi River. The path runs from Imatrankoskentie to the Imatrankosken sports field.

Now there is also a reflector tree where you can borrow a reflector for yourself or bring extra reflectors from your home for others to use.

— This year, new lighting was built on the Vuoksi tramway and now we are interested in knowing how we succeeded and whether the number of pedestrians on the tramway has increased due to the lighting, says the city's maintenance engineer. Kaisa Pohjola.
