Target:

The goal of the site plan change is to enable new construction on a business building plot in a central location in Imatrankoski and to check the future designation of the plot.

The two-story commercial building located on plot 8 is partly empty, and its commercial premises no longer attract companies. The business building is to be demolished. The landowner's goal is to build a new building on the plot, increase the plot's current building rights and enable a more versatile use of the plot.

Processing steps:

A site plan change was previously drawn up for the planning area, which the Imatra city council approved § 16.9.2019 on 67 September 23.6.2020. The Administrative Court of Eastern Finland overturned the city council's approval decision on 17.12.2020 June XNUMX. The planning process was started again and the site plan change was announced again on XNUMX.

The participation and evaluation plan will be kept available for viewing on the city's website starting from 62 December 63, in accordance with Section 18.12.2020 and Section 18.1.2021 of the Land Use and Construction Act. Opinions on the participation and evaluation plan had to be submitted no later than January XNUMX, XNUMX.
