Map services and materials

The map service is used, for example, to view distances, services, formula markings and plot boundaries. Now also available plots are shown in the map service, you can view them from the menu on the left side of the map service.

With the map program, you can give feedback directly to the map, for example about the condition of the roads. On the map, you can mark the place or area to which the feedback applies. The program offers a text field where you can write your feedback and, if you wish, also attach a picture. The feedback is automatically directed to the correct area of ​​responsibility.

Delivery of digital map materials

In urban planning, Bentley's Microstation/StellaMap software is used, from which digital map data can be delivered in the following formats:

• as MicroStation files (dgn)
• as AutoCad files (dwg, dxf)
• as postscript files (eps, pdf)
• as raster image files (common raster formats)

Level and height systems at Imatra

The city of Imatra uses the ETRS89-GK29 level coordinate system. The height system N2000 in use was put into use at the beginning of 2018.

The difference to the previously used N43 height system is +0,25 m.
