Urban Development and Technical Services is responsible

• Housing and construction matters, such as building supervision and permits

• Urban planning, zoning, maps and surveying

• Streets, traffic, public transport and green areas

• Water supply

• In cooperation with urban development and technical services, the Imatra regional environmental department operates, which manages the tasks of environmental protection and environmental health care for the surrounding municipalities in the region.
