A new rise in the Ivo area is already being planned

- Architect Marja Luostarinen will visit the area with us and the cooperation will start to build. We like to use an architect for the sites, because the buildings in the area are protected, entrepreneur from Ivonranta Ky Vesa Venäläinen says.

The city is responsible for the construction of the streets and municipal engineering, as well as the padel court, children's playground, and community sports facility to be built near the current tennis court.

- Ivontie's municipal engineering is complete and the area's new stormwater drainage line has been built in Vuo. In the summer, Ivontie's street lighting and asphalting will be finished. After that, the renovation of Egekren raiti and Oikosulu streets will begin, says the developer Henry Tapiola From Mitra.

Modern technology and carbon-neutral materials for real estate

Ivonranta Ky has negotiations with the building agency as early as March. The Finnish Museum Agency is involved in the planning table from the beginning, when protected properties are renovated.

- We use carbon-neutral materials already in the construction phase. Forms of heating are still being mapped, but the properties are getting a water circulation heating system and ventilation with good recovery, says Venäläinen.

Inside the properties, everything is renovated using modern technology, and the harmful creosote used as waterproofing in the houses is completely removed. The appearance of the houses will remain unchanged, but they will be painted and, among other things, the eaves will be renewed.

The company will start electronic marketing in the area on February 27.2.2023.
