Guidelines for the safe use of food

To the one in the link to the document has compiled a list of currently available foods that may pose potential risks. These guidelines have been included as part of the publication “Eating Together Food Recommendations for Families with Children” by the Finnish National Nutrition Advisory Board and the National Institute for Health and Welfare. 

As a general rule, a varied, balanced diet is the best way to avoid the effects of harmful substances in food. Good kitchen and handling hygiene, as well as the correct preparation and storage temperatures, reduce the risk of food poisoning. Also follow the instructions for use on food packaging.
