Ukonniemi area

The Ukonniemi - Rauha area consists of two spa hotels, restaurants and several holiday apartment properties. The area offers versatile sports and outdoor activities. 

The area has an ice rink, a tennis hall, a multi-purpose hall, a biathlon-baseball stadium, a network of slopes that meet international standards, a first snow slope and a ski area to support young people's skiing training and education activities.

In Ukonniemi there is a renovated sports field and a practice field covered with artificial grass for football players.

The full-scale frisbee golf course and guided outdoor trails are also in lively use.

The Imatra spa operating in the area also offers a versatile selection of different sports facilities and activities, such as restaurant, health and spa services. The spa also has a bowling alley as well as gyms and a sports hall.

The well-maintained sports area and spa are surrounded by the uniquely beautiful lake nature of Saimaa.
