The renovation of Hevossuontie in Meltola will begin on Monday, 5.5.

The renovation of Hevossuontie, which is part of the Meltola regional renovation, will replace the road's structural layers, culverts and plot connection culverts. The renovation also includes the renewal of water and sewer main lines, including the house branches of the lines up to the plot boundaries, and the renovation of stormwater. Street lighting will also be renewed.

— We will start work next week on the Lampsiinjoki end. We will first build an above-ground water supply network for the properties on the road. At the same time, the water meters will be removed from the properties, says Tommi Skyttä From Imatra Real Estate and Regional Services Ltd.

When an above-ground water supply network is put into use in properties, it is recommended to run more domestic water, as the water is warmer than normal network water.

Detour from Hevossuontie to Valjaskatu

When excavation work begins as the renovation progresses, traffic will be diverted from Hevossuontie to Valjaskatu via a detour. The detour runs between Hevossuontie 17 and Valjaskatu 28.
