A broken pipe is being repaired at Rajapatsa today

Work began on Tuesday, February 2.2, by melting the frost, as there are cables in the area. Excavation work and repair of the broken pipe will begin on Thursday, February 5.2, at 16 p.m. The work will cause minor disruption to traffic. The trench filling may be postponed to Friday.

— The situation is quite exceptional, it is rare that frost needs to be thawed to allow repairs to be made, says the network manager. Kari Mäkelä from Imatran Vesi.

A repair schedule has been agreed with the staff of the daycare center located on Rasinkatu, and residents of the Lähteenkatu properties have been informed of the water outage during the repair work.
