The campaign is running from Monday, November 3.11rd to Thursday, December 4.12th, and in Imatra, the card collection point is the main library.

The campaign collects Christmas cards for elderly clients of home care and housing services. The goal is for as many elderly people as possible to receive warm Christmas wishes.

This year's campaign is the thirteenth in a row. The patron of the national campaign is the President of the Republic, Alexander Stubb.

— Cards can be dropped off in the main library's collection box every day during the campaign between 8 am and 20 pm, says the library's service manager. Jesse Lindstrom.

Instructions for card makers

1. Make a Christmas card using recycled materials. The card should ideally be at least A6 size so that the Christmas wishes are easy to read.
2. Attach the decorations well and let the glue dry completely before delivering the card to the collection point.
3. Write Christmas greetings or even a Christmas poem on the card.
4. Write your name as the sender and “To you” as the recipient on the card.
5. Leave a space on the card the size of a postage stamp for the campaign sticker. Siskot ja Simot will stick the sticker on for you. The sticker will help the recipient understand the origin of the card.
6. Take the card to the collection box!
