At the request of the person liable for payment or at the initiative of the authority, a waste fee may be imposed in deviation from the waste fee or may not be collected if the fee in accordance with the fee is considered unreasonably high or low.
The waste fee can be made reasonable, for example, when the property's waste management has been arranged using a regional collection point and the property is completely unused. That is, it is not or will not be used for permanent or leisure living during the entire calendar year.
The reason for making the waste fee more reasonable is not the small number of residents or waste.
Payment reminder
According to the Waste Act, the person liable to pay has the right to submit a complaint to the municipal waste management authority within 14 days of receiving the waste invoice, which can decide to change the waste fee.
A payment reminder will be sent in writing to the waste management authority and, depending on the decision, a new waste invoice will be sent to the customer if necessary.
