The activity will possibly start as early as next spring for sixth and ninth graders.

In its meeting on Monday, Imatra's city government outlined that the city will start contract negotiations on cooperation with the Finance and Youth TAT. This means that in the future, sixth and ninth graders from Imatra will also spend the day in the Enterprise Village.

- The goal is for the students to get with the help of Yrityskylä positive experiences in working life, economy and society, service manager Arja Kujala says.

Today, the City Hall got to know the operations of Yrityskylä in Lappeenranta.

It was really great to see how enthusiastic the students were in the Enterprise Village. I believe that getting involved in the activity supports learning and at the same time our new strategy, says Kujala.

If the cooperation patterns are completed quickly, the sixth graders will be able to participate in the activities of Yrityskylä as early as next spring.

In addition to Yrityskylä, the city also continues to cooperate with the Young Entrepreneurship network.
