The overflow was stopped on Monday evening, January 16.1. by midnight.

The wastewater pumping station at the end of Päivärintenkatu overflowed on Monday, January 16.1. at 19.00:XNUMX in Imatra. The overflow discharged into Lampsiinjoki and from there further into Hallikkaanjoki. 

- The measures to control the overflow of the pumping station have been started immediately and the suction truck fleet has been alerted, the water supply manager Kari Pietarinen says.
