The main library and the Vuoksenniska library will return to normal opening hours

You can visit the main library daily from 8 am to 20 pm and the nearby libraries from 7 am to 21 pm. 

- Of course, we hope that in the future libraries will behave in a matter-of-fact manner and with consideration for other people, and that there would be no need for new reductions in self-service hours. November–December were spent with shortened opening hours, he says library specialist Ari Sareslahti.

The library reminds that each customer is supposed to log in to the self-service library with their own library card, i.e. one person per card. The exception is guardians, who can enter the library with the same card as their dependent under the age of 15. 

The libraries have camera surveillance, and a security guard goes around the premises at the end of self-help time.
