Libraries and museums will switch to summer time starting May 30.5.2025, XNUMX

The Vuoksenniska and Rajapatsa libraries will serve as self-service libraries from Midsummer until early August.

Summer opening hours for Imatra libraries, Imatra City Museum, Imatra Art Museum and Käytävägalleria are valid. 30.5.–31.8between . 

The main library, museums and the Corridor Gallery close at 16 pm on summer Fridays. On Midsummer's Eve, Friday 20.6 June, the main library is open as a self-service library, and the museums and the Corridor Gallery are closed. 

During the summer, the main library and Vuoksenniska have shorter self-service hours on weekends: 

  • Main Library, Fri-Sun 8 am–16 pm 

  • Vuoksenniska Library, Fri-Sun 7 am–16 pm 

The City Museum, Art Museum and Corridor Gallery are also open on Saturdays. 5.7.–9.8. 10 am–16 pm. 

Local libraries serve as self-service libraries 

Local libraries, namely Vuoksenniska and Rajapatsa libraries, are open as self-service libraries from Midsummer onwards until August 3.8rd.   

Unlike previous years, loan periods at local libraries will not be extended during the summer. 

– Loans can be renewed in the online library and at the lending machines. Renewals can also be made by calling the main library or other Heili libraries, the library's service manager Jesse Lindström give instructions.
