Imatra's libraries are closed in early December

In the newspaper reading room of the main library, you can also read newspapers during closing hours.

The update of the library system and online library of South Karelia's Heilikirjastos will be implemented in December.

During the update, the lending services of Imatra libraries and other Heili libraries, self-service libraries and the online library will be out of use. The online library will close on 2.12. and libraries 3.12. The closing lasts about two weeks.

Loan periods for materials are automatically extended beyond the closing time.

- Returns can be left in the return hatches at all offices during the lockdown, but the materials will only be recorded as returned when the new system is operational, says the library expert Ari Sareslahti.

During closing time, you can read magazines and the ePress newspaper service in Imatra's main library and use the internet on weekdays. The printing service is disabled. The Rajapatsas and Vuoksenniska libraries are completely closed, except for the returning hatches.

The national E-library will function normally during the system update.
