Soil extraction permit

As of 1.7.2016, soil extraction permit matters and supervision related to extraction have been transferred from the municipalities to the environmental department of the Imatra region.

The goal of the Soil Materials Act is that soil materials are taken in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way. Applications for land and environmental permits concerning the same project are processed by a joint decision.
