The beaches have now been dived and found to be safe. The pier will be installed in Lempuk during this week.

The beaches of Ukonniemi, Lempukka, Immalanliette and Rauti will be officially opened for swimmers on Monday, May 29.5.2023, XNUMX.

The beaches have been cleaned during the spring and early summer, and the safety of the coastal waters has been checked by diving.

— Dangerous objects have been removed from the bottom by diving., sports center master Jani Niittynen Imatra's real estate and regional service Kipa says.

The beaches are open from Monday to Friday from 8 to 19:45 and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 to 19:45.

During opening hours, the lockable lockers on the beaches are open and rescue boats are available.

— We would like beach users to remember that lifeboats are only intended for rescue use. So they are not on the beaches for pleasure rowing, Niittynen reminds.

There are no lifeguards on the beaches.

The temperature of the swimming waters is measured on weekdays. The latest information can be found on the city's website from this link.
