The city of Imatra cancels the New Year's celebration, the fireworks will take place

The corona team of the city of Imatra decided that the New Year's reception on the evening of December 31.12.2021, XNUMX will be canceled due to the worsening corona situation and the government's latest guidelines. At the party, the audience would inevitably have had to be in a close group on the rapids bridge and its surroundings. The country's government watches the outdoor events into areas of moderate risk, jos are not defined in them seats.

The cancellation of the event means that the previously announced cable walk over the rapids bed will not take place either. It will come to organize in May-June.

Fireworks can be arranged instead. It is very visible in different parts of the center of Imatrankoski. The city recommends spectators to gather freely to admire the rockets. The use of masks is recommended at this public event as well. The fireworks will start on 31.12.2021 December 20 at XNUMX:XNUMX.

The traditional turn-of-the-year rapids show was also supposed to be organized on January 1.1.2022, XNUMX. Now that too has to be cancelled.
